Řetěz za zvířata - konec dotací do živočišného průmyslu (Praha)

Spojme své síly za zvířata! [ENG BELOW]
Ve spolupráci s aktivisty z Německa a Rakouska, pořádajících akce Vegan Wall United, chceme zvýšit povědomí veřejnosti o tom, jakým způsobem a množstvím peněz je mašinerie, zneužívající a vraždící zvířata, financována.
Pod pojmem řetěz si v tomto případě můžete představit dlouhou řadu lidí držících transparenty, kteří mezi sebou mají rozestup dva metry. Tato vzdálenost odkazuje na restriktivní koronavirové opatření vlády, kvůli nimž jsme byli nuceni zrušit plánovaný The Official Animal Rights March 2020, jež se měl původně konat právě v tento den.

Potřebujeme, aby se nás sešlo alespoň 1000 lidí, díky tomu vytvoříme řetěz o délce dva kilometry, což v historii demonstrací u nás nemá obdoby.

Cílem této akce je, aby si lidé uvědomili, že živočišný průmysl je státem silně dotován, což činí produkty živočišného původu extrémně levnými. Strava obsahující živočišné produkty je tak zdánlivě levnější a dostupnější než strava čistě rostlinná. Otázka optimalizace dotací je v současné době probírána na evropské úrovni v rámci tzv. Zelené dohody pro Evropu. Jedním z cílů této dohody je eliminovat škodlivé dotace a přesměrovat veřejné finance směrem k ekologickým investicím. Ve spojení se současnými poznatky o negativním vlivu živočišné výroby na životní prostředí se tak jedná o téma velice aktuální. My k němu přidáváme etický rozměr.

Na akci si prosím přineste svůj banner, nejlépe tématicky zaměřený na informace o dotacích a živočišném průmyslu. Pokud ho nemáte, nebojte, na místě jich několik bude k zapůjčení. Nebo si jej můžete přijít vyrobit na dílnu (termín bude vypsán).

Let's join forces for the animals!

In cooperation with activists from Germany and Austria, who organize Vegan Wall United events, we want to raise public awareness of how and how much money the slaughter machinery, that abuses and kills animals, is financed.

By the term “řetěz”(eng. chain), you can imagine a chain composed from people holding banners with a distance of two meters. This distance refers to the government's restrictive coronavirus measures that forced us to cancel the planned The Official Animal Rights March 2020, which was originally scheduled on that day.

We need at least 1,000 people to get together to create a chain two kilometers long, which is an unprecedented case in the history of demonstrations in our country.

The aim of this event is to make people aware how the animal industry is heavily subsidized by the state. That is why products of animal origin are extremely cheap. Food containing animal products is thus seemingly cheaper and more affordable than purely plant - based food. The issue of optimizing the subsidy policy is currently being discussed at the European level in the framework of the so-called Green Agreement for Europe. One of the aims of this agreement is to eliminate harmful subsidies and redirect public finances towards green investments with the view to current knowledge about the negative impact of animal production on the environment, this is a very current topic. We add an ethical dimension to it.

Please bring your own banner to the event, preferably on the subject and containing information about subsidies and the animal industry. If you don't have one, don't worry, there will be several on site for rent. Or you can come and create one at the workshop (the date will be announced).

If you feel hungry, you can get refreshments at the Vegan Feast in Prague in Pankrác, which follows on from this event.
