It consists of two full days (Sunday, November 16 & Saturday, November 22) of community sharing, imagining, creating, and mutual learning. Come to learn about other perspectives, both human and non-human, and find a way to fight for true liberation together and of all.

Brown Skin, White Vegan: reflections on decolonising veganism
Format: Lecture & discussion
Influenced by Frantz Fanon's work on the psychology of colonialism, I invite us to reflect together on how we might decolonize our approach to veganism. I've come to realize that the veganism I once held as unquestionably ethical was, in many ways, shaped by a colonial framework seeking acceptance within a white-dominant moral culture. This realization has forced me to confront the tension between my commitment to decolonization and my participation in systems that may reproduce oppression. I remain deeply devoted to animal liberation, but now I understand that true liberation also requires examining how even our most sincere ethical practices can carry traces of colonial influence.
